Learning delicious and inexpensive ways to prepare and preserve the fresh food we grow, or that we buy from our local farmers, is an exciting aspect of this project.
Cultivating Community partners with Opt for Healthy Living in offering cooking demonstrations and classes, as well as workshops in preserving produce. When the summer comes, our Urban Farming workshops, Organic Vegetable Project Farm Days, and farmers markets will also see cooking demonstrations and tastings from a bicycle-powered kitchen.
