Are you a new or young food grower wanting to try your hand at selling produce you grow? Cultivating Community North Valley is offering ten $240 mini-grants (plus reimbursement for 2013 farmer certification) to lower-income urban and rural produce growers to encourage new vendors to sell at small farmers markets a minimum of 6 times in 2013. (The opportunity can extend into 2014 for those who prefer to sell winter crops.)
