Eligible persons receive:
- Priority access to Urban Farming Workshops
- Free admission to most Urban Farming Workshops.
- Eligibility to receive free or reduced-cost supplies and samples of gardening items, such as… vegetable and fruit seeds, potting soil, soil amendments, organic fertilizer, compost, seed starting kit, basket of seasonal produce, veggie starts
If you are over the eligibility limit you will
- Have access to the waiting lists for the Urban Farming Workshops and be contacted roughly one week prior to the workshop should space be available.
- Be asked to pay a small fee ($10, unless noted otherwise) to be paid at the start of the workshop.
To be eligible, one must be a current participant in Calfresh/Food Stamps, Free or reduced Lunch/Breakfast programs, WIC, or Commodities Or Have a monthly income that falls within these guidelines:
